Hyundai Motor India has today launched the new 2017 Elite i20 in the Indian car market at s starting price of INR 5.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With this update, this premium hatchback comes with a number of feature updates, provision of additional safety features and the introduction of a new dual-tone paint scheme. Not only this, Hyundai have also slightly increased the prices of the Elite i20 with this update.
The New 2017 Elite i20 comes with first-in- segment Dual Tone exteriors options in Red Passion Body Colour with Phantom Black Roof and Polar White Body Color with Phantom Black Roof. There are also Black Interiors with Orange Insets. providing the hatch back with a sporty look and feel inside the cabin. The New 2017 Elite i20 has first-in- segment 7.0 touchscreen Audio Video Navigation with smartphone connectivity supporting Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirror Link features for the technology savvy customers.
Commenting on The New Elite i20, Mr. Y K Koo, Managing Director and CEO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, The Elite i20 has been a runaway global success, selling over 300,000 units since its launch in 2014. The New 2017 Elite i20, with more First-in- Segment features will further enhance the brands appeal offering Premium Safety, Performance and Exceptional Driving Experience to the customers. The New 2017 Elite i20 gets powerful engine options of 1.4 U2 CRDi Diesel which churns out 88Bhp of power and comes with 6-Speed Manual Transmission, 1.2 Kappa Dual VTVT Petrol producing 81Bho of power and mated to a 5-Speed Manual Transmission and 1.4 Dual VTVT Petrol churning out 98Bhp which comes with a 4-Speed Automatic Transmission. Some of the convenience features include Smart Entry, Rear AC Vents, R16 Diamond Cut Alloys and safety features like ABS, Rear Defogger and Fog Lamps, that enhance the overall appeal of the car. The New 2017 Elite i20 is available in 5 exterior colour options including all new Marina Blue and 2 additional options in Dual Tone.
