Maruti Celerio Diesel– This month will kick start with one of the most-awaited cars of this year- the Maruti Celerio diesel. This vehicle gets a newly developed 793cc diesel motor that produces 47bhp of power and 125Nm of torque. The engine will be paired to a five-speed manual gearbox. With claimed mileage of 27.52kmpl, the Celerio diesel will be the most fuel efficient car in India.

Audi RS6 Avant– After launching the A3 Cabriolet, TT Coupe and RS7, the German luxury carmaker is set to launch the performance oriented RS6 Avant in the country. It is powered by a 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 engine that produces 560bhp of power and 700Nm of torque. This engine is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission, which sends the power to all-four-wheels via Audi's Quattro AWD System. The car accelerates to 100kmph from zero in mere 4 seconds before hitting a top speed of 304kmph.

Maruti Suzuki S-Cross SX4 – Maruti Suzuki India will showcase the much-awaited S-Cross SX4 crossover aka A-Cross at the 2015 IIFA awards on June 7. Unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Motor Show as pre-production concept, the crossover will be sold under Suzuki's badge. It will be offered in two diesel engine options- 1.3-litre multi-jet and 1.6-litre multi-jet.

Ford Figo Aspire- Ford India has announced to launch three new cars in the country this year. The Figo Aspire will be the first Ford to go on sale in the Indian car market in 2015. First unveiled as Figo concept at 2014 Indian Auto Expo, the compact sedan is equipped with various segment leading features. It will be made available in two engine options- 1.2-litre Ti-VCT petrol and 1.5-litre TDCi diesel. The petrol engine will also be paired to a five-speed manual and a six-speed Dual-clutch automatic transmission.

New Honda Jazz– Buoyed by the positive response for diesel City, Amaze and Mobilio, Honda Car India is now ready to launch its 4th diesel powered car in India. The company will re-launch the Jazz hatchback in India, but this time with a diesel engine. It is powered by a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine that churns out 99bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. The petrol version will get a 1.2-litre i-VTEC motor, which will be paired to a CVT transmission with paddle shifters. A five-speed manual transmission will come as standard.
