New Hyundai Verna Bags Record Order of 10,501 units from Middle East

The 2017 Hyundai Verna is priced in India between INR 8 lakh to INR 12.88 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL), India’s largest passenger car exporter and second largest car manufacturer has received a record export order of 10,501 units for the recently launched new generation Verna from the Middle East market. The car will be launched as the next-generation Hyundai Accent in the Middle East markets. The company reveals that this is the single largest export order for the new Verna that Hyundai has received since inception. Hyundai Motor India Ltd. had invited around 33 distributors from the Middle East markets including UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman along with other distributors from Asian countries like Philippines, Vietnam and Sri Lanka to its Chennai facility on 21st September, 2017. The distributors were given a detailed presentation on the product and its quality parameters, a detailed plant tour and an overview of its plant capabilities. This was concluded with an exclusive drive experience of the new Hyundai Verna. Moreover, the new Hyundai Verna will also be exported to markets like South Africa along with other Gulf and Asian countries by the start of 2018. Hyundai India has received over 18,600 bookings for the new Verna in India while the car has garnered more than 1.43 lakh inquiries since its launch in August 2017. The company plans to deliver its first 20,000 orders of the Verna, at a special introductory price, by the end of December 2017. Speaking about the landmark order for the Verna, Mr. Y K Koo, MD & CEO- Hyundai Motor India Limited, said, “The Next Gen VERNA has received overwhelming response from domestic and export markets.
