Going by the data from SIAM, India’s leading car maker retailed 30,934 units of new Dzire in comparison of Alto which stood at 21,521 units last month. Continuing its dominance in the domestic passenger vehicle market, the Indo-Japanese car maker grabbed the first 6 slots of top 10 best selling cars in India this August. The new generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2017 was launched in the country earlier this year in the month of May. As mentioned above that the first and second position occupied by Maruti Dzire and Alto, Maruti Baleno stood at third with 17,190 units in its kitty followed by Maruti Vitara Brezza at Fourth. On the other hand, Hyundai India managed to grab three slots in the top 10 best selling cars for the month of August 2017. As a reminder, the Indo-Japanese car maker retailed 1,52,000 units last month in comparison to 1,19,931 units in the same month last year witnessing a growth of 26.7 percent. Hyundai India, on the other hand, recorded a growth of 9 percent wherein the domestic sales stood at 47,103 units in comparison to 43,201 units last year in the corresponding month.
