New Maruti Suzuki Swift, Ertiga Crossover MPV and 2018 WagonR India Launch this Year

The new Maruti Swift is expected to be launched in February 2018, while the new Ertiga will be launched in August 2018; New WagonR launch by year end.

Maruti Suzuki will launch a range of new cars in India in 2018. Of these, three cars have been confirmed, which are the new Swift 2018, the all-new Maruti Ertiga Crossover MPV and the new generation WagonR. The new Maruti Suzuki Swift will be showcased at the Auto Expo 2018 while the car will be launched soon after the expo. The new Maruti Ertiga is also expected to be showcased at the Auto Expo, but launch is expected to take place in the second half of 2018, mostly in August this year. It is also reported that Maruti Suzuki will launch the new generation WagonR in India. However, details of the new model are not available yet. According to media reports, the new Maruti Suzuki WagonR should be launched in India by the end of this year. That said, Maruti Suzuki is also expected to launch a three-row, 7-seat WagonR MPV sometime this year or early next year. The Maruti Suzuki Swift 2018 will be available with the same petrol and diesel engines as that of the current generation model. New-Generation Maruti Suzuki WagonR 7
The 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Crossover MPV is expected get the new in-house developed 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol variant is expected to get the same 1.4-litre VVT unit that produces 94 BHP of power and 134 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic gearbox.
