New Porsche Boxster to debut at Geneva Motor Show
Porsche will also introduce the 911 Carrera Cabriolet and Panamera GTS in Europe for the first time.

Porsche AG will be introducing the new generation Porsche Boxster at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, which will kick start this week.
The significant technical change on the new Porsche Boxster comes from its considerably lower weight, courtesy of the lightweight design of the body and the completely revamped chassis. The mid-engine roadster's comprehensive revamping is also apparent by the looks of the increased wheelbase, wider track and larger wheels. The new Boxster is 15 per cent more fuel-efficient than the out-going model. Styling wise, the new Boxster wears forward-shifted windscreen, flatter silhouette, shorter body overhangs and more expressive edges. On the inside, the new Boxster will don a new raked center console and the interior is also said to be more spacious that the out-going model.

The German carmaker will also introduce the 911 Carrera Cabriolet and Panamera GTS for the first time in the Europe at the Geneva Motor Show.
The Porche 911 Carrera Cabriolet too, benefits from the lightweight design thanks to the use of magnesium in the hood that ensures less weight, while adding more sportiness to the looks of the Cabriolet.

The Porsche Panamera GTS, the four-door car for the racing circuit has been technically improved with adding more power, upgraded brakes, a body lowered by 10mm and the sportily tuned chassis with air suspension and PASM. The GTS clocks in a top speed of 288kmph, while reaching the 0 to 100kmph mark in mere 4.5 seconds.
