Nissan announces price hike for Micra and Sunny
Diesel Micra will cost more Rs 12,000. New prices will be effective from January 20, 2012.

Nissan has announced a price hike for their small car, the Micra and Sunny petrol sedan that was launched last year.
The price of the Nissan Micra hatchback will go up by Rs 3,000 for all petrol variants and prices of both the diesel variants of the Micra will go up by up to Rs 12,000. The Sunny on the other hand will see a price bump of Rs 5,000 across the three variants of the Sunny petrol. The price of the recently launched diesel version of Sunny, though, will remain unchanged. During the launch of the Sunny last year, the blokes at Nissan had hinted that the attractive price tag of the Sunny was introductory and that the sticker price could go up in 2012. So there they go – the hike in prices across the two models, Micra and Sunny petrol will be effective from January 20, 2012.
