Nissan India and its latest model, the Terrano SUV that have been regularly grabbing the spotlight since the last few months, refuses to lay low from the news space even after the model was officially showcased in the country for the first time last week.
This time, we hear from our very reliable sources that the bookings for the Terrano SUV that were officially scheduled to open on 1 September 2013 have already begin at most Nissan dealerships across the country. Booking amount as quoted by the dealers is Rs 50,000.
Based on the Renault Duster, the Nissan Terrano offers a striking new design and a luxurious interior. Nissan chose to remain mum about the pricing or even the mechanical bits at the recently concluded event. However, we hear that the Japanese automaker is readying to launch its company SUV in the first week of September 2013, which is when we shall get first-hand info on the variants, specifications and pricing.
