Petrol prices hiked by 70 paise, Diesel by 50 paise
Revised prices will be effective from midnight.

The oil companies have announced that they will increase the prices of petrol by 70 paise per litre and diesel by 50 paise per litre (without local taxes or VAT). As is usually the case, the revised prices will be effective from midnight.
This will be the second hike in fuel prices in less than three weeks. Petrol prices were raised by Rs 1.55 per litre on July 14, 2013. The depreciating rupee and rising crude prices meant it was only a matter of time before yet another revision in fuel prices was announced. Stay tuned to OnCars for more details.
