One can say that the German luxury carmakers have left no stone unturned to impress the Porsche enthusiasts in India. In terms of design the new Cayenne gives you a more aggressive stance with the large grille and redesigned bumper. Apart from that Porsche has added various tweaks to the SUV that includes restyled headlamps, tail lamps, bonnet & bumper air inlets, exhaust pipes and inlets. Bi-xenon headlights with four-point LED Daytime running lamps will be offered as standard in the Diesel, S and S- E-Hybrid variants but the Turbo Model gets LED Headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS)
The Cayenne Diesel packs a 3.0-liter V6 engine under the hood that gives you 242 bhp @ 3800-4400 rpm and 550 Nm of torque @ 1750-2750 rpm. With the top speed of 218kmph, the Cayenne Diesel is claimed to go from 0 to 100 in 7.2 seconds. As for the Cayenne S Diesel, it comes with a 4.2-liter V8 engine that generates 380 bhp @ 3750 rpm and 850 Nm of torque @ 2000-2750 rpm. From a standstill, it can reach 100 kmph in only 5.4 seconds with a top speed of 252 kmph.
For the petrol variant Cayenne S, Porsche has added a 3.6-liter V6 twin-turbo engine that generates 414 bhp @ 6000 rpm and 550 Nm @ 1350-4500 rpm. Claimed to reach 0 to 100in 5.5 seconds, the Cayenne S gives you a top speed of 259kmph.
The top of the line Cayenne Turbo comes with a 4.8-liter V8 engine that produces 513 bhp@ 6000 rpm and 750 Nm pf torque @ 2250-4000 rpm. With a top speed of 279 kmph the Cayenne Turbo has claimed to reach 0 to 100 in just 4.5 seconds.
Porsche India has also stated that it will eventually be launching its other variants like Cayenne GTS and Cayenne Turbo S soon in India.
