Porsche announces Panamera Turbo S in India

Deliveries to begin in February 2014.

Purists might still not love it but bar the Cayenne if there's a Porsche that could carry four in style (and speed), then the Panamera it is. The four door Porsche might not be the prettiest of them all but it's sporty and has proven itself against the well established competition.

To take the performance game to another level, Porsche India has decided to announce the Panamera Turbo S. The car, powered by a 570PS twin turbo V8 can not just prove to be a swift way of transport from one meeting to another, it won't mind some hooning on the race-track too. Laden with tech to aid the driver, this car even with 750Nm of torque won't be an overkill for the road either, since that torque is quite wide-spread between 2,250 and 5,000 rpm.

The Panamera Turbo S is placed quite high in the line-up, so expect the features list (and the price) to be match the car's credentials. Porsche India has made the car available for order with deliveries scheduled for February 2014. Prices for the same will be announced soon.
