Porsche has launched a new edition Platinum variant of the Cayenne SUV in India. Only available for as limited time period, this extra exquisite version of the German SUV retails at a price of INR 1.06 Crore for the petrol variant, while the diesel version of the car will set you back by INR 1.08 Crore. These prices are ex-showroom, Maharashtra. Talking about these, the Platinum edition of the Porsche Cayenne gets humongous 20-inch alloy wheels which are inspired form the Spyder RS design. There are wider wheel arches on offer as well. step into the cabin and this limited edition car will great you with its leather seats. The premium feel will be further enhanced by the presence of Alcantara panels on the center console and steering wheel. Just as we have been seeing the Porsches of today’s generations, the Platinum edition Cayenne will feature the German manufacturer’s Porsche Communication Management system which facilitates the occupants of the car with a built in navigation and multi-media system. Being and SUV you would expect the car to come with certain number of off-road and on-road assists. Well the platinum addition boasts of carrying them all. It gets a Porsche adaptive suspension management system, bi-Xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System. There is a panoramic sun-rood on offer along with window blinds and a 4-zone climate control for added comfort. For pure style, there are a number of color options available as well.Since the SUV remains the same in all the other aspects other than the added bling, the engine line-up is same as before. The petrol derivative of the Porsche Cayenne get its usual 3.6-litre V6 which generates 300bhp of power. On the other hand, the diesel motor is a 3.0-litre V6 which is good for 245bhp.
