Porsche launches faster, harder Panamera
GTS variant of sedan is quicker, better to drive

Porsche has unveiled a new variant of the Panamera sedan. It is called the GTS, and it is better to drive than the standard variants. It does this by virtue of extracting 430PS from its 4.8-litre naturally-aspirated V8, 30PS more than the regular models. Maximum torque is also more by 20Nm, at 520Nm.
The transmission features the Sport Chrono package as standard, as is the PASM adjustable suspension. In addition, the rear gets a wider track and the braking system of the Panamera Turbo. All these changes allow the Panamera GTS get to 100kmph in less than 4.5 seconds and on to 288kmph.
The Panamera GTS seems like a bit of a confused car to us – it's a comfortable four-seater sedan that claims to be a track tool. This, from the makers of the 911 series of sports cars. No doubt the variant will go down a storm with customers, though. Orders are open as of right now, with deliveries beginning in March next year.
