Scoop: Mahindra continues testing of the 2014 Scorpio facelift
The test mules were spotted undergoing cold weather testing in Manali, Himachal Pradesh.
Mahindra Scorpio has been in news in the recent days, thanks to a couple of things. First, it surpassed Renault Duster in monthly sales figures, after which, a limited edition version of the vehicle was launched and while all that was going on, Mahindra continued testing the facelift version of its popular SUV.

Although it still generates a lot of interest among those who are looking for a utility vehicle, there's no denying that the Scorpio is now quite old. Before the replacement for the Scorpio comes in (or after) 2015, M&M is planning to launch the slightly updated version (codenamed W105).

It was again spotted but this time in Himachal Pradesh, undergoing some cold weather testing. That means Mahindra will update the mechanicals too, apart from making it look fresh (and young). The report by Motorbeam too claims the same. As for the powertrain, expect no changes.
