Leading carmaker Maruti Suzuki has decided to bring out the Wagon R Stingray in the Indian market and after making its appearance in spy shots earlier, here's the latest set of pictures published by Motorbeam.com.

The car is reported to have reached stockyards and with a launch speculated to happen on the 20th of August, it's time for you guys to have a look at the car again. So here are the pictures. The car won't be hugely different from the Wagon R and is expected to cost close to Rs 50,000 higher than the regular version. It will be available in three variants, namely LXi, VXi and VXi with option pack, with prices varying from Rs 4 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.

The styling is where the Stingray might appeal to those who want the practicality of the Wagon R but want it to look more aggressive. Projector headlamps (a segment first), a big front-end and a bodykit will differentiate it from the Wagon R. Interiors too are suggested to have been updated with a multi-info display and piano black scheme.

There are not any changes expected on the mechanical front. We shall update you as more information is released.
