Expected to be priced above the current Indica Vista, the Falcon4, is going to be a premium hatchback from Tata Motors. As reported by CarToq, the car is likely to get a redesigned front and rear end, with new headlamps (projectors on top variant) and exclusion of Tata's X-mas tree tail-lamp pattern. It gets new bumpers and a new grille design too. In the engines department, the FIAT-sourced 1.3-litre diesel engine will do its duty, apart from a new 1.2-litre Turbo petrol engine, which will be developed in-house. Also, another layer of sound deadening material will be placed to keep the passenger compartment free from road and engine noise. Talking about passenger compartment, the car is likely to get the interiors from the D90, although it won't be surprising to see better quality stuff in this one. If Tata launches such a car, it will not just help customers choose from a wider range of products, it will make sure that they get cars that are desirable and stand neck to neck with the competition. We hope the next Vista is dynamically sound too. If you are a sedan lover, expect a revamped Manza too.
