Sebastian Ogier wins Race of Champions
Volkswagen celebrates first win with team’s new rally driver

Sebastian Ogier won the Race of Champions (RoC) in his first outing, beating eight-time Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen. Citroen WRC driver for 2011, Ogier, has moved to Volkswagen and will compete with the factory team starting 2013. The VW driver emerged fastest in a multi-starrer field comprising of F1 champions Sebastian Vettel, Michael Schumacher and Jenson Button, also DTM champion Martin Tomczyk and many other motorsports greats.
The race cars used for RoC were Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup, Audi R8 LMS and the rally Skoda Fabia S2000. RoC is an exhibition event which pitches many of the world’s best drivers against each other on a common stage for the title of ‘Champion of Champions’.
