After showcasing the latest-gen Octavia Combi for the first time at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, Skoda has now officially announced its plans to launch this estate variant of the just launched 2013 Octavia.
The 2013 Octavia Combi 4X4 will be available with a choice of three engines and two trim levels: Ambition and Elegance. The 1.8 TSI petrol engine puts out a meaty 180PS of power while the 1.6-litre and 2-litre TDI diesel engine make 105 and 150PS of power respectively.
Both the diesel-engined models come standard with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The petrol version though gets a 6-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The all-wheel drive system is designed to send most of the power to the front wheels under normal driving conditions but if the going gets tough, the rear axle comes into play to offer extra traction.
