Spied: Camouflage-free 2013 Skoda Octavia

Just yesterday, Skoda had released the very first teaser image of the 2013 Octavia – the replacement for the long-running current generation model. Couple of hours later, yet another teaser surfaced on the interweb, showing a bit more of its seemingly striking design. However, while Skoda is busy keeping the anticipation alive by showing off tiniest of details of the all-new Octavia, a fresh set of spy images is now up for public viewing, courtesy of autoforum.cz

Here we see the upcoming model in all its glory. The 2013 Octavia is one of Skoda’s first production cars to adopt the company’s all-new design theme. Also, the Rapid which recently went on sale in Europe, comes from the same design family.

In case you have missed, the 2013 Octavia is based on Volkswagen’s renowned MQB platform and will be lighter than the outgoing model. It is also likely to cost slightly more than the current Octavia and will be sold above the Rapid in Europe.
