Strike at ancilliary units end but talks fail
Suzuki Powertrain and Motorcycles head back to work on Sunday

Suzuki Powertrain India has called off the workers' strike and work will resume tomorrow, Sunday, the weekly off. This should make up for the loss of production on Friday. However, there is an additional clause – the workers have said that if the issue isn't resolved within the next 48 hours, they will go back on strike.
Harayana labour minister Shiv Charan Lal Sharma held a meeting with the management and union till late yesterday but no solution was reached.
Both the Manesar plant and powertrain facility will open on Sunday, while the Gurgaon factory will reopen on Monday.
