Tata Aria heads to South Africa; Will be available from early 2014

In a pursuit to expand its product lineup to the far end of the world, Tata Motors have introduced its premium crossover – the Aria, for the South African market. Launched at the recently-held Johannesburg International Motor Show, the Aria will be available across Tata Motors authorized dealerships from early 2014.

Besides launching the Aria, the brand had a lot of other vehicles on display including the Vista D90, Manza Club Class, Storme Explorer Edition, Super Ace and the Xenon XT. Speaking on the occasion, Tata Motors' Managing Director, Mr. Karl Slym said, “South Africa is one of the focus markets for Tata Motors. We see tremendous potential in the market needs and are confident of designing products to cater to the consumer's needs here. With Horizonext, we have embarked on a journey with a commitment to excite our customer globally and we look forward to unfold our strategy in South Africa for a deeper presence in this market.”

The Aria for the South African market is no different than the one sold here in India, with the same dynamic design and comfortable interiors laden with an array of safety features. The crossover, with its special crumple zones and side impact beams and six airbags is amongst the safest vehicles in its class.
