Tata Bolt India Launch Postponed to 2015: Bolt will be Considered 2nd Passenger Car after Zest

After Zest the much awaited launch of Tata Bolt of Tata Motors has been postponed till 2015. According to latest reports, Tata is planning to launch the Bolt by early 2015. Tata bolt will be the second passenger vehicle from the Tata Motors India stable after its recent launch of Tata Zest in August 2014. Zest has already received more than 10,000 bookings since its launch.

Tata Bolt India Launch Postponed to 2015: Bolt will be Considered 2nd Passenger Car after Zest

The sources have revealed that the Bolt will be available in both petrol and diesel version, the petrol engine is equipped with 1.2-litre Revotron turbocharged petrol engine and 1.3-litre Quadrajet diesel engine. 

The price of Bolt is not yet revealed by the company but we expect that will be priced in the INR 7 lakhs price range and can compete with the other cars like, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Ford Figo, Volkswagen Polo, Chevrolet Beat and Hyundai i10 in the same segment.

The Bolt will be equipped with many attractive features like center console, MapMyIndia GPS system, infotainment system and an electric power steering on board.
