Tata Motors Jamshedpur plant to remain closed for five days from September 26

Lack in demand forces the automotive manufacturer to take the decision, says report.

A slow market is good for no one, neither for the manufacturers nor the prospective buyers but it’s a responsible call by carmakers if they reduce production of the vehicles, in order to not create a large inventory.,Because in the current market conditions, it will prove difficult to clear.

Tata Motors too have done the same. A five day block closure of the Jamshedpur plant from September 26^th till October 3^rd will be seen. But unfortunately this is not the first time something like this has happened. This, in fact, is the third such closure within a month’s time, says the report, which is not a good thing!

Lack of demand of heavy commercial vehicles is said to be the primary reason. We hope the situation becomes normal soon. The company should be issuing a circular in the plant and the employees are expected to resume their routine on October 3, 2013 (September 29^th and October 2^nd not counted, since both are holidays).
