Tata Motors will soon start taking official bookings for the Tata Nexon sub-compact SUV in India at an amount of INR 11,000. That said, the car is speculated to be launched in India on 21th September 2017. Based on the IMPACT design philosophy, the Tata Nexon comes equipped with an array of first-in-class technology and features that sets it apart from the competition. The Nexon comes powered by all-new 1.5-litre diesel and 1.2-litre turbo-charged petrol engine options. Multi Drive Modes – The Tata NEXON comes equipped with first-in-segment Multi Drive Mode feature. The Multi Drive Modes – Eco, City and Sport – lets you extract the best performance out of the vehicle. Drivers can switch between the different drive modes to experience the three different personalities of the NEXON, ensuring performance as per the requirements of driver. The Eco mode delivers higher fuel economy along with a smooth throttle response. The City mode allows better torque delivery at low RPMs to cruise swiftly in city traffic. Tata Nexon Petrol & Diesel Engine Options
Powerful Engines The Tata Nexon comes equipped with two all-new engines – the 1.2-liter turbo-charged Revotron petrol and the 1.5-liter Revotorq diesel engine, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission while a 6-speed AMT gearbox will be made available as an option at a later date. The petrol engine produces 108 BHP of power and 170 Nm of peak torque while the diesel unit produces 108 BHP of power and 260 Nm of peak torque.
