Recently, the car maker also crossed 1 lakh bookings for its popular small car of which the top-end variant is quite popular followed by the AMT variant that has too received an overwhelming response. Based on Tatas Impact design philosophy, Tiago is currently manufactured at the companys Sanand facility to meet the increasing demand of the Indian buyers. Crafted with utmost precision for a premium feel, the Tata Tiago flaunts a premium feel on the inside and an attractive exterior design which highlights the compact look and sharp design. Tata Tiago is offered in both petrol and diesel derivatives wherein the petrol unit is powered by a 1.2-litre Revotron engine while the diesel engine gets 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel engine. The petrol engine is capable of producing 84bhp against 114 Nm of peak torque whereas the oil burner develops 69 bhp of max power with peak torque of 140Nm. Both the engines come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard while the 5-speed AMT is offered on the petrol unit only.
