Tata to launch CNG powered Indigo eCS emax next month

Although we are quite far from replacing fossil fuels as the primary source of energy, CNG is one of the more popular fuels used widely. It's cheaper and greener, thus proving to be good for both the environment and pocket.

Leading Indian carmaker Tata also has plans to add a couple of CNG powered models to its line-up. After adding Nano emax recently, it's time for the Indigo eCS emax to reach the market.

According to reports, Tata is looking at launching the car sometime next month. It's powered by a 1.2-litre 67PS petrol engine. Using CNG will drop the power output a bit, making the figure come down to 57PS. But if you are in for an economical but spacious sedan which is not very expensive to buy, the Indigo eCS emax makes a lot of sense.
