The UV segment in India has been picking up pace in the recent past. Be it sub-compact SUVs, compact SUVs of MUV, each one of these segments have been observing a considerable growth as buyers have now started to explore more alternatives than the earlier preferred hatchbacks or sedans. Here we bring you the list of top 5 best selling UVs for the month of January 2017.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza
On the top step of the podium is Marutis all new compact SUV, the Vitara Brezza. The same sold 8932 units for the month of January 2017. It currently is offered only with diesel derivative with the automaker in consideration of launching a petrol powered derivative soon. The demand for this SUV is such that the same currently stands at a waiting period of up to 24 weeks. Price fall in the range of INR 7.19 to 9.66 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Hyundai Creta
Hyundai compact SUV, the Creta has too be centre of attraction for buyers looking for a premium urban SUV. The same sold 7918 units for the month of January 2017. The Creta is available in both petrol and diesel derivatives in both manual and automatic guises. The prices for the same fall in the range of INR 9.21 lakh to INR 14.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Mahindra Bolero
Mahindras compact SUV, its workhorse, the Bolero stood on the third step of the podium with over 6,598 units sold. Recently the same was launched in a new, sub four meter Power Plus variant. Prices for the same fall in the range of INR 5.69 lakh to INR 7.57 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga
Marutis MPV, the Ertiga has surely one of the major sellers, particularly after the introduction of its SHVS variants. The same sold about 5,198 units for the month of January 2017. The prices for the Maruti Ertiga fall in the range of INR 6.22 lakh to INR 8.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Toyota Innova Crysta
The Toyota Innova, in its latest Crysta avatar, has been yet again pulling huge sales for the Japanese automaker in the country. The same has sold 5,013 units for the month of January 2017. The prices for the Toyota Innova fall in the range of INR 13.72 lakh to INR 20.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
