Toyota Camry has always been a product of exclusivity and style, which apparently has been retained in this facelifted Camry. It has been built based on Toyota’s latest design language that makes the car look all the more splendid and to top it all the smart usage of chrome at the front really adds and richness to this car. It comes with new redesigned headlamp cluster with LED projectors lamps & day-time running lights along with an elegant chrome strip going from one end to the other. The new grille looks perfect with the big Toyota logo at the centre, but what truly dominates the front facia is the massive airdam outlined with some heavy chrome that also does a stylish roundabout of the new circular fog lamps. Towards the rear you’ll find LED taillights and a chrome strip on the bootlid for a more premium look. New 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels complete the exterior round of changes on this sedan.
On features front, both the 2015 Camry Hybrid and Petrol come with a premium three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, a 4.2-inch colour TFT display, a new backlit instrument cluster, wireless mobile charger, automatic beams and a new infotainment system. Toyota has also upgraded the infotainment system in the centre console, which now comes with a larger 6.1-inch multimedia screen. As for comfort offerings, the 2015 Camry Hybrid comes with new wooden trim dashboard along with softer leather for the seats and heated rear seats among others.
As mentioned earlier there are no changes on the mechanical front what so ever. The facelifted 2015 Camry Hybrid sports the same 2.5-litre 4 cylinders, In-line, petrol engine along with a 650 V Electric Motor that churns out a combined power output of 205 PS and a maximum torque of 270 Nm. The Hybrid gets an e-CVT (Electronically-Controlled Continuously Variable) transmission and electronic fuel injection system. As for the regular variant it is powered by the same 2.5-litre petrol engine producing a peek power of 181PS and a peek torque of 233 Nm. Transmission duties are taken care of by a 6 Speed Automatic with Sequential Shift gearbox.
