Toyota has been setting up for the launch of the new Crysta Touring Sport which is set to reach the showroom post 4th May, 2017. The new Touring Sport features a few superficial changes over the standard Innova Crysta which was anyways a big step up from the previous generation of Innova which still is a valuable prospect in the second-hand car market.
The pricing of Innova Crysta Touring Sport is expected to be in the range of INR 20 to 24 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Toyota is going to offer the Touring Sport as a trim over the top end ZX variant and will offer a lot of vanity with its opulence and premium feel.
Toyota Innova Crysta: Exteriors
The Toyota Innova is going to be sporting a ravishing wine red body colour which gets black treatment all around. The front fascia comprises of the hexagonal grille with glossy black finish and chrome treatment on its borders. The illumination unit comprising of headlamps and rectangular fog lamps remains same but the bumper design is changed a bit and skid plate gets silver accents on the edges.
Another addition is the underbody cladding which runs the length of the vehicle along with the wheel arches. The Touring Sport will also be getting a dual tone ORVM in silver and black colour which comes with turn signals integrated. The alloy wheels are finished in black colour while the rear end of the vehicle also gets chrome treatment along with black finish.
Toyota Innova Crysta: Interiors
The cabin is going to remain same as the regular Innova Crysta but features will be aplenty as it will be offered as a trim over the ZX variant. A small breakup will comprise of new fabric upholstery with contrasting stitching, in order to provide a premium feel. The features list will include a multi-functional steering wheel, digital display to read out important information, one touch windows, a touchscreen infotainment system with navigation system & six speakers, cruise control, electric adjust driver seat, seven airbags and keyless entry.
Toyota Innova Crysta: Engine Specifications
The Innova Crysta Touring Sport will be featuring the existing set of engines which comprise of 2.8 litre GD series and churns out 171 bhp of power with 360 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the petrol engine delivers an output of 164 bhp with 245 Nm of torque. The transmission option is likely to be only a 6-speed automatic instead of the 5-speed manual in the regular Innova Crysta models.
