Toyota Innova facelift launched at Rs 9.77 lakh

Available in five trim-levels and 7/8 seater configurations. 

Following numerous spy shots and a leaked price-list, Toyota has silently slipped in the new Innova range in India. The carmaker has updated its website with complete information and all the details of the new model which comes in at a starting price of Rs 9.77 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

The new Innova receives updated exterior and interior design however, the mechanicals remain the same and the popular MPV continues to be powered by the same 2.5-litre diesel engine producing 102PS of power and 205Nm of torque. While adequately potent in the urban environment, the four-cylinder unit with its low power output runs out of breath quite frequently on the highway, especially when the car is heavily loaded.

Available in five trim-levels and 7/8 seater configurations, the new Innova range starts at Rs 9.77 lakh and goes all the way to Rs 15.06 lakh. When compared to the competition, the Innova still seems like a pricey proposition but then, a high quality product usually comes with a price.
