We report a lot about spy shots and videos here at OnCars, but few cars engage our interest as much as the upcoming Skoda Octavia vRS. The much awaited hot version of the 2013 Octavia has been spied hitting the roads, and now it has been caught prancing around the Nurburgring in Germany.

The legendary race circuit is known for being a formidable test-bed for many carmakers. For years, majority of leading brands have been undergoing testing at the Nurburgring to assess handling capabilities of their upcoming models.

The 2013 Skoda Octavia vRS is expected to be powered by a 2-litre TFSI engine which is also powers the latest-gen Golf GTI hot hatch. With around 220PS of power and 350Nm of torque, this all new model is significantly more powerful than the outgoing Octavia vRS. Skoda will officially reveal the 2013 Octavia vRS on the 11th of July during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
