Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has announced that its next major entry in the premium SUV segment will be called the XUV 7XO. The company confirmed that the vehicle will make its world premiere on January 5, 2026.

The XUV 7XO will follow the XUV700, a model that has had a significant presence in the Indian SUV market since its launch, with Mahindra reporting more than 300,000 units in operation over a period of a little more than four years. The new SUV is described by Mahindra as an evolution of the existing platform, with updates expected across design, technology, comfort, and performance.

The company indicated that the XUV 7XO is intended to continue its strategy in the premium SUV category, an area where Mahindra has sought to expand its footprint in recent years.
