A Mercedes Benz SLS AMG, piloted by Norman Simon, Official Safety Car driver for F1 GP, has set the fastest lap time at the Buddh International Circuit, breaking the current production car record. It took the German a total of 2:14.521 (2 minutes and 14.521 seconds) to lap the whole track (5.125km).
And this was done in the SLS AMG. Give that guy a Black Series and he'll set a record so high that it will be quite difficult for other cars to beat it, we reckon. The benchmark has been set by Norman and the 571PS monster of a car, it remains to be seen who breaks the record now.
