Ola Electric unveils 'India Inside' at Sankalp 2025 with 4680 Bharat Cell, S1 Pro Sport, Roadster X+, AI-powered MoveOS 6 & futuristic Diamondhead motorcycle.
On August 15, 2025, Ola Electric, the largest EV and clean energy firm in India, announced its ambitious vision India Inside at an event in Bengaluru at its Sankalp 2025 event. The vision is focused on full supply chain sovereignty, innovative solutions developed in India and in India-friendly solution.
The insertion of the first indigenously developed 4680 Bharat Cell into the fleet of Ola vehicles was a highlighting event. Such high-level cells are available now on models such as the S1 Pro Sport, S1 Pro+, and Roadster X+, and they provide a longer range, a faster top speed and overall better performance. The S1 Pro Sport, with a price starting at 149,999 rupees, will have sports-oriented features, such as: gas-charged suspension, traction modes, ADAS support, and deliveries will begin in January 2026. Adding to the two-wheeler portfolio, the Roadster X+, which is capable of an extended range of 501 km, further beefs up the Ola portfolio.
Ola also demonstrated its ferrite motor, obviating the need to use rare-earth magnets, and said it would roll out phasically beginning FY26. The other stopper was the futuristic Diamondhead motorcycle belonging to the Moonshot project of Ola with hub centred steering, aerospace grade composites as well as Krutrim Silicon integration. Due to the launch in 2027 at under 5 lakh, it is another world-first move by Ola.
The company also unveiled a new ML-based operating system MoveOS 6 that has 25+ new features, such as adaptive cruise control, multilingual, and personalized riding moods; an AI processing unit that recognizes faces and voice commands; and Windows-compatibility. Also, Ola introduced its Gen 4 modular platform, which will be used to power future 2W, 3W, 4W, drones and humanoids, with better efficiency and at reduced costs.
Ola has been strengthening its commitment through Sankalp 2025 to transform India into an EV innovation and clean energy solutions hub.
