Tata Altroz Becomes India’s Safest Hatchback with 5-Star Bharat NCAP Rating
Tata Altroz is the first 5-star Bharat NCAP safest hatchback in petrol, diesel and CNG powertrain making Tata Altroz the only 5-star CNG powered automobile in India.
The All-New Altroz has also been awarded an illustrious 5-star safety rating by Bharat NCAP (B-NCAP), which has again placed Tata Motors in a new standard regarding the safety of its vehicles. With a score of 29.65/32 in adult occupant protection and 44.9/49 in child occupant protection, the Altroz has become the safest hatchback in India.
The Altroz has the advantage of becoming the first hatchback to get 5-star rating on Global NCAP in 2020 and now is the only premium hatchback to get a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating in all powertrains, including petrol, diesel and CNG. Interestingly, it is also the first CNG-powered car in India to pass the highest ranking in safety, which highlights the effort put by Tata Motors in providing in-car portable and reliable mobility.
The Altroz comes on a well-established ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) platform by Tata to provide a strong Diamond Strength Safety Shield with strengthened crumple zones. Its standard safety services are six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), ISOFIX child seat restraints, 360 HD Surround View Camera, Blind View monitor, TPMS, SOS assistance, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and LED fog lamp with cornering function - making it fully protected in all its drives.
