TATA.ev and Allied Motors Unveil New EV Collection in Mauritius

TATA.ev expands to Mauritius with Allied Motors, offering Tiago.ev, Punch.ev, and Nexon.ev. Focus on sustainability, efficiency, and advanced tech with comprehensive after-sales support.

TATA.ev, a subsidiary of Tata Motors, has expanded its presence in Mauritius through a partnership with Allied Motors, the leading automobile distributor in the country. This collaboration introduces TATA.ev’s electric vehicle (EV) range, including the Tiago.ev, Punch.ev, and Nexon.ev, designed with advanced high-voltage platforms to deliver improved terrain response, safety, comfort, and low maintenance.

Yash Khandelwal, Head of International Business at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., highlighted that this marks TATA.ev’s first expansion beyond the SAARC region. He noted Mauritius’ government commitment to sustainable mobility, positioning the country as an important market in their EV strategy.

James Ngan, Managing Director of Allied Motors, discussed how the new TATA.ev models cater to the growing demand for sustainable and innovative mobility in Mauritius, with a focus on power, efficiency, and advanced technology. Allied Motors will provide comprehensive after-sales support to ensure a smooth customer experience.

The TATA.ev portfolio includes the Tiago.ev, offering a range of 190-210 km and fast charging in under an hour. The Punch.ev, a compact SUV, delivers a 270-290 km range and features advanced infotainment and safety options. The Nexon.ev, an electric SUV, provides a range of 350-375 km and a range of tech features, including a 360° camera system and DC fast charging.

Each vehicle comes with an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty on the battery and motor, along with free home charging equipment. Allied Motors ensures professional sales and after-sales service to support the ownership experience.
