Tata Motors have announced that its plant in Jamshedpur will be shutdown for a period of 11 days in order to carry our maintenance of equipments installed in the plant. The said 11-day shutdown will be undertaken from March 27, 2013 to April 6.
Tata Motors will undertake shutdown from March 27 to April 6 to carry out maintenance of equipments, particularly, in the paint shop,” Debasis Ray, head of corporate communications said.
The Indian automaker further stated that the shutdown was needed as it is not possible to carry out maintenance of equipments, especially in the paint house during the day to day operations.
