TVS–BMW Motorrad Collaboration Reaches 200,000-Unit Production Milestone

TVS Motor Company (TVSM) and BMW Motorrad have announced a major achievement in their long-standing global partnership, reaching the production milestone of 200,000 units. This accomplishment comes over a decade after the two companies signed a strategic alliance in 2013 to co-develop and manufacture sub-500cc motorcycles for international markets.

The partnership currently includes models such as the BMW G 310 R, G 310 GS, and G 310 RR, all of which are produced at TVS Motor’s Hosur facility. These motorcycles are exported to more than 100 markets across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. Both brands highlight that the consistent global demand for these models has been a key factor in achieving this significant production benchmark.

Strengthening their collaboration further, TVS Motor Company has now commenced manufacturing of the BMW F 450 GS, a motorcycle recently showcased at EICMA 2025. This marks the beginning of the next phase of their joint product development programme, aimed at expanding their premium and performance-oriented offerings.

With this milestone, the TVS-BMW partnership continues to demonstrate its commitment to innovation, global expansion, and high-quality motorcycle engineering.
