American cars are great at going in straight line, they can prove to be very good long distance cruisers too but would you take one around the famous Nurburgring? Well, we too have our doubts!
All the doubts can be put to rest once you watch the video. It's an onboard lap of a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro lapping the Nurburgring. It managed to go around the track in a time of 7 minutes and 37.47 seconds. This upcoming stonker of a car is powered by a V8 7-litre engine, which produces around 500PS of power and close to 640Nm of torque. The limited slip differential and a suspension setup tuned for the race-track means that it puts down all the power brilliantly.
It's true that Americans make desirable cars but this one adds quite a big feather to their hats.
