As per the leaked images on web, the VW Vento sedan gets a slightly larger front radiator grille and an updated rear end. The front grille is inspired from the Passat saloon, while the bonnet and a new lower front that resembles that off the Jetta. With new exterior changes, the sedan looks premium than the current model. At the rear, the saloon has an all-new bumper and a chrome strip.
Inside the cabin of the new Vento it is likely to get a more modern touchscreen interface, which come as a replacement for the older infotainment system. It also gets Bluetooth, USB and AUX-in slots. Possibilities are also there that the vehicle could get an in-dash navigation unit, while the current model has the separate windscreen mounted ones that were available earlier. Other changes could be new upholstery for seats, and colours.
It is expected that the Vento facelift will also get some mechanical changes, but the changes are very limited to recalibrated engines. The sedan is likely to get more optimised gear ratios on the DSG automatic variant. It will continue to be offered in three engine options- 1.2-litre TSI petrol, 1.6-litre MPI petrol and 1.5-litre TDI diesel.
