Volkswagen Vento Magnific Launched: Price in India starts at INR 8.57 lakhs for special edition Vento

German carmaker Volkswagen today launched a special edition of its mid-sized sedan Vento in India priced between INR 8.57 lakh and INR 10.42 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The special edition, Vento Magnific, will be available in both petrol and diesel options. While Volkswagen has priced the petrol version in the range of INR 8.57 – 9.26 lakhs the diesel variant is tagged at INR 9.84 lakh and INR 10.42 lakh (all prices ex-showroom) Delhi).

Describing the car and its offering, Director Michael Mayer, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India said, “The special edition Vento Magnific is aimed at providing more value to customers.” Along with high standards of safety and build quality, the car is also equipped with other features like high-end infotainment and navigation systems, he added.

The special edition Vento come with a Blaupunkt infotainment system with front and rear display units and 3G internet connectivity. Other features include alloy wheels, Garmin navigation device and scuff plates with Vento badging as standard.

As with the regular Vento, the Special Edition Vento Magnific also gets dual front airbags, dual-beam headlamps and flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel as standard fitment, the company said in a statement. The special edition model will be on sale from 10th March 2015 onwards.
