Yamaha Lowers Prices of R3 & MT-03 to Meet Rising Demand, Celebrates 10 Years of R3

Yamaha slashes R3 & MT-03 prices by up to Rs 1.10L from Feb 1, 2025. R3 now at Rs 3.59L, MT-03 at Rs 3.49L. Move celebrates R3’s 10th year, boosting demand for premium bikes.

New Delhi – India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd. has announced a major price revision for its flagship motorcycles, the Yamaha R3 and MT-03, making them more affordable for enthusiasts. Effective from February 1, 2025, the price reduction of up to Rs 1.10 lakh aims to cater to the increasing demand for premium motorcycles in India.

Following the revision, the Yamaha R3 is now priced at Rs 3,59,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is offered in Icon Blue and Yamaha Black. The MT-03, known for its bold design and street performance, is available for Rs 3,49,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) in Midnight Cyan and Midnight Black.

The announcement comes as Yamaha marks a decade of the R3’s global presence. Over the years, the R3 has gained popularity among riders for its aerodynamic design, inspired by Yamaha’s YZR-M1, and its lightweight diamond frame. Powered by a 321cc engine with a balanced 50/50 weight distribution, it delivers an engaging riding experience suited for both road and track enthusiasts.

On the other hand, the MT-03 stands out with its aggressive styling and everyday practicality. Equipped with the same 321cc engine, it offers responsive performance and agility, complemented by an upright riding stance and compact frame for enhanced maneuverability in city traffic. Its twin-eye LED headlights and mass-forward design further highlight its dynamic appeal.

By making these models more accessible, Yamaha aims to strengthen its presence in the premium motorcycle segment and attract a broader base of riders in India. The price revision is expected to enhance the brand’s reach and reinforce its reputation for high-performance motorcycles.
