Breaking NEWS: 8 Naxalites Killed In Encounter With Security Forces In Chhattisgar’s Abujhmarh

At least eight naxalites were killed in an encounter with security forces during an anti-Naxal operation in Abujmarh area on Saturday.

Raipur: At least eight Naxalites were killed in an encounter with security forces in Abujhmarh area in Chhattisgarh’s Maoist-affected Bastar region on Saturday. The gun fight between the Naxals and the security forces broke out this morning in the dense forest area of Abhujmad when a joint team of the security forces was conducting an anti-Naxal operation. A jawan lost his life and two others sustained injuries during the operation.

Earlier this month, security forces gunned down six Naxalites during an encounter in Gobel jungle. The encounter broke out after Maoists attacked a joint search party including personnel of ITBP, District Reserve Guard (DRG), and CRPF.
