India and South Africa will play the third One-Day International (ODI) of the five-match series at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot on October 18. The first match at the new Rajkot stadium was played in 2012 between India and England. Only two ODIs have been played at the venue since it got status to host international matches.

A T20 International match has also been played at the venue when Australia had toured India. The only T20I of the tour was played at this venue.
