Length ball outside off, attempted steer to third man goes off the bottom edge towards Roy at backward point. Dinesh wanted the single and Kusal responds although it was always going to be dangerous. The throw at the striker's end hits the bulls eye and Perera is well short. Big wicket for England that as the southpaw was looking dangerous. Great fielding from Roy as he collected with his left hand and then fired the throw with his right in a flash of seconds.

L Plunkett to D Gunathilaka, OUT! GONE THIS TIME! Perera survived but Gunathilaka didn't! Another good delivery from Plunkett, slightly fuller outside off, inviting the drive and Gunathilaka obliged, without any footwork though. Got a nick through to Buttler who pouched it with ease. The bowling change does the trick for England but Gunathilaka has only himself to blame for this. He's thrown it away.

L Plunkett to K Mendis, OUT! GOT HIM! It's Plunkett again! After a barrage of shortish deliveries, he delivers a slightly fuller ball around off, jags back in a touch to rap Mendis on the pads as he misses the flick. The lbw appeal is upheld quickly by the umpire and it's a duck for Mendis. Only height could have saved him and replays show that it was clipping the stumps. So, a good decision not to review it. Plunkett is on a roll with his second scalp in as many overs.

M Ali to D Chandimal, OUT! WASTE OF A WICKET! It's a huge wicket too! Fuller on leg stump, worked towards short mid-wicket and Chandimal charged down for a non-existent single. Roy swoops in on the ball quickly and fires in a flat throw at the striker's end to Buttler who takes off the bails with ease. Dinesh wasn't going to make it back and that's a massive blow for Sri Lanka at this stage.

A Rashid to A Mathews, OUT! RASHID BREAKS THE STAND! Just what England needed! Floats it up outside off, a bit of extra bounce undid Mathews as he went for the slog sweep. He went a bit half-heartedly for the stroke and the result was a top edge to short fine leg where Plunkett settled under it nicely. This is exactly what the Lankans didn't need as this pair was batting smartly up till this delivery happened.

A Rashid to S Prasanna, OUT! STUNNER FROM WILLEY! Absolute stunner! Floats it up full on off, enticing the lofted drive and a nervy Prasanna goes for the big lofted stroke. Mistimed it straight up in the air as it went down the ground. Hales at long off and Willey at long on both go after it but it's the latter that finally makes the eventual dive to take an exceptional catch. Top fielding that and he is grinning happily at Hales. Ends a really careless stay at the crease from Prasanna.

D Willey to F Maharoof, OUT! BOWLED 'EM! Sri Lanka are imploding here! Full and around off, tailing in a touch and Maharoof played all around that one but ended up missing it completely. That disturbed the timber and England are having a great passage of play here. Wickets falling in a cluster for the tourists.
