Jeffrey Vandersay to Takudzwanashe Kaitano, OUT! LBW! Jeffrey Vandersay strikes in his first over! Zimbabwe lose their first wicket. This is a googly from Jeffrey Vandersay on off. Takudzwanashe Kaitano gets forward and looks to defend. He misses the ball and it hits his pads. There is a huge appeal and the umpire raises his finger slowly and Sri Lankan players rejoice. They needed this breakthrough and the spinner has provided it. Takudzwanashe Kaitano thinks of reviewing it but then walks back to the pavilion. Takudzwanashe Kaitano has played a handy knock on his debut.

His wait for the century continues.
Craig Ervine (C) b Kamindu Mendis 9 20 0 0 45
19.6
Kamindu Mendis to Craig Ervine, OUT! TIMBER! The skipper departs and another spinner gets a wicket in his first over. The pitch is flat but the cracks are working in the favor of spinners. Really good bowling here. This one is coming with the angle. It stays a touch low as well. Craig Ervine has a poke away from the body and leaves a big gap between the bat and pad. The ball sneaks through and disturbs the stumps. Timely wicket for Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe were running away with the momentum.

Chamika Karunaratne to Sean Williams, OUT! TIMBER! And that is the end of a brilliant knock! A full ball, targeting the off stump. Williams stays back and looks to heave it but misses and it sneaks through and hits the off stump. Exceptional innings from Sean Williams, he has done his job here. A flatter and slightly shorter delivery outside off by Raza. Nissanka looks to run it fine towards the off side. But the ball catches the outside edge of his blade and Regis Chakabva takes a good catch behind the stumps. He appeals and is very confident but the umpire is unmoved. Zimbabwe decide to take a review and the replays roll in. The UltraEdge shows that Nissanka has got an edge on that one and he has to walk back after playing a superb knock.
