The Aam Aadmi Party  criticised the Centre’s move to bring an amendment in Lokpal Act and appealed to all opposition parties not to support it.
“AAP opposes government’s proposal to scrap the requirement of a quorum in the selection panels for selecting the Lokpal and CBI director,” it said in a statement.”The party appeals to all the opposition parties to oppose any amendment in the existing laws which seek to render them toothless and would lead to government control in these important appointments,” it said.
