New Delhi, Feb 27: The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department has released admit cards for the Assistant Teacher examination on its official website www.upsessb.org. Candidates who have applied for the examination can now download the form from there.

The total number of vacancies are 68, 500. The written examination for the same will be conducted on March 12. The selection of candidates will be done on the merit basis. 60 percent of the marks obtained in the examination will also be added to the merit list.

The online procedure to fill the vacancies has started from January 25. Around 1,82,754 candidates have applied for the post and last date to apply was February 5.

Step 1. Log on to the official website
Step 2. Click on the notification appearing on the homepage
Step 3. There will be link for admit card, click on it
Step 4. Enter all the details required and submit
Step 5. Your admit card will be published
Step 6. Download the admit card and take out the print of it
