The Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) conducts the Civil Services Examination to recruit candidates for the posts of IAS, IPS, and other positions. The exam is held in three stages: the preliminary, main, and interview. It is to be noted that the interview round is also called the personality test. Only a few candidates are able to clear the competitive exam on the first attempt. Several civil servants, such as IAS Anudeep Durishetty, IAS Tina Dabi, and IAS Smita Sabharwal, have earned widespread recognition and admiration online. IAS Shakti Dubey is one such officer whose UPSC marksheet is going viral on social media platforms.
Shakti Dubey secured the All India Rank(AIR) 1 in the UPSC civil services(Main) examination 2024. She chose Political Science & International Relations as her optional subject. Speaking about her educational qualifications, Dubey holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Allahabad. Later, she went on to pursue an M.Sc. in Biochemistry from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), where she also received a gold medal.
Shakti Dubey’s journey to success was far from easy. She appeared for the UPSC examination five times before finally achieving her goal. In her first three attempts, she was not able to even qualify for the preliminary stage. However, she never gave up. With more determination and focus, Dubey started preparing for the examination.
Finally, on her fifth attempt, Shakti’s perseverance paid off. She chose Political Science and International Relations as her optional subject. She topped the UPSC exam and secured the All India Rank 1 (AIR 1) in the civil services examination.
After IAS Tina Dabi, the marksheet of UPSC topper Shakti Dubey has gone viral on social media. Her marksheet stands as a testament to resilience, determination, and the power of persistence.
Shakti Dubey, who topped the Civil Services Examination 2024, obtained a total of 1043 marks. Shakti Dubey scored 843 marks in the UPSC mains exam and 200 marks in the interview. She got 51.5 per cent marks.
