IAS Saumya Jha’s Success Story: During the 2023-24 academic year, many Class 10 students in the Tonk district struggled with mathematics in their board examinations. In response, the district administration introduced the “Learning with Artificial Intelligence” project, creating a dedicated AI-based portal. This initiative commenced on January 7 across 352 schools and has already demonstrated significant enhancements in student performance within a mere three weeks.

Students Benefiting from the AI Portal

As per Dr. Saumya Jha, she too struggled with mathematics during her school time years but overcame the difficulty by practicing. The AI Portal is proving to be highly beneficial for students, enabling Class 10 students to grasp mathematical concepts more effectively and solve problems with ease. So far, the initiative has reached over 11,000 students in the district.

AI Portal Available for Hindi and English Medium Students

The “Learning with AI” platform is created to support students in both Hindi and English mediums. Users can choose their language preference, which will then show all math chapters available. Students have the option to select any chapter, view comprehensive step-by-step solutions, and work on extra-related exercises.

This innovative project is going to transform math education in Tonk and, if approved by the state government, could become a model for AI-driven learning across Rajasthan.
